ABOUT PASMAA

The network built by IPADE alumni across North America.

A message from our President

Welcome to PASMAA

When a small group of IPADE alumni began meeting in 2022, we shared one conviction: an IPADE graduate building a business in North America should never have to start from zero. Someone in this network has already established a company, navigated banking processes, built a team and learned from valuable experience. Our mission is to make those connections possible.

Today we are close to 600 executives across more than 25 cities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Our commitment remains unchanged: to build a community of leaders who contribute, collaborate, and create value for one another.

If you are an IPADE graduate operating across these three countries, this community was built for you. I invite you to join, share your experience, and help shape what PASMAA becomes.

Our history

Where we come from, where we are headed

What began in 2022 with fewer than ten founders and was formally incorporated in 2024 is today a growing community of executives across North America. We are building the most trusted community of Mexican executives on the continent, and those who shape it now will define what it becomes.

2022

The beginning

Fewer than ten IPADE graduates start meeting to help each other do business across borders.

2024

Formal incorporation

PASMAA is incorporated as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit business league association based in Texas.

Today

A continental network

Close to 600 members in more than 25 cities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Our mission

To advance the professional and business growth of IPADE graduates across the United States, Canada, and Mexico through strategic networking, continuous learning, and a high-value community.

How we organize

The Eight Committees

Eight committees. One clear owner for each, so nothing goes unattended and there is always someone to turn to.

01

Membership

Lead: Marcel Dencker Remy

Owns the member experience from day one. It runs the intake process, keeps the directory and annual dues in order, and connects each member to the parts of PASMAA that matter to them: Soft Landing when settling into the country, Networking when expanding relationships.

02

Soft Landing

Lead: Raúl Núñez

The committee for those establishing themselves in the United States. It connects members with those who have already built a life here, delivers the Soft Landing Kit (entity formation, EIN, banking, and trusted bilingual accounting and immigration firms), and integrates their families through Damas Ex-IPADE, the IPADE spouses' network. The purpose is to turn months of trial and error into a few well-directed conversations.

03

Networking

Lead: Arnoldo Azuela

The committee that turns a member directory into a network that actually gets used. It organizes the monthly sessions and community channels, but its essential job is to make the right introduction at the right moment, so membership translates into business, partners, and people to call on.

04

Company Visits

Lead: José Luis Camarillo

Opens the doors of the companies our members and allies lead. Each visit is hosted by a senior executive who explains how the business truly works and what lies behind the decisions. For IPADE graduates, it is the case method applied to a real company, in person.

05

Social Events

Lead: Antonio Plaza

PASMAA works because its members trust one another, and that trust is not built in a meeting. This committee organizes the holiday posada and gatherings where members and their families get to know each other as people, the foundation everything else rests on.

06

Institutional Relations

Lead: Jorge Arellano

PASMAA's standing comes from the institutions it engages. This committee develops the alliances (IPADE, Rice University's Baker Institute, AEM, and CELH) that give members a credible position in North America and access to rooms most people cannot enter.

07

Marketing & Communications

Lead: Mauricio Romero.

The committee that defines how PASMAA is perceived among members, prospects, and allies. It leads communications, content, and member stories that attract new people and keep the message consistent. Marketing brings people closer; Membership carries them forward.

08

Legal & Accounting

Lead: Francisco Eguiarte (Accounting) · Rolando Durán (Legal)

Keeps PASMAA financially sound, legally in order, and transparent to its members. This committee handles accounting, corporate governance, and compliance: the work that makes no headlines but determines whether members can trust the organization with their time and money.
